How does it work?
The ESCA Mobile Access Systems uses a unique, patented driving mechanism
which allows the operator to move the
unit from the working platform but still
remain in a safe working environment.
The operator can cover large areas without
the need to dismount. The unit can be
moved in any direction without additional
power.
To
Go Forward
You
press the lifting pedal on the platform
with your foot - this lifts up the ESCA at the front by a few centimetres. Through
continuous left-right movements of the
handlebar, you can move the ESCA in any desired direction.
To
Go Backwards
You
press the lifting pedal again and turn
the handlebars by 180° - now, you
can move into the desired direction just
as described above.
The ESCA 3000 is modular and can be easily transported
between sites. Both platforms fit into
an average sized estate car. The working
platform height can be increased or decreased
by adding or removing sectional lengths
until the desired working height is achieved.
This makes the ESCA Mobile Platforms ideal for working in areas with sloping
ceilings. The ESCA can
also be used on stairs or tiered auditoriums
giving greater working options.
